If so, the wiring can become more complex and needs additional coordination in the design phase. We offer in-house drafting and CAD drawings. Our design staff is fluent in all current codes and will design an electrical system that is user-friendly and code-compliant.
If you’re remodeling your home, you may need an electrical panel upgrade. Newer panels are designed to provide you with all the power that you need with safety in mind. If you are remodeling a home that is older than 20 years old, you will most likely need a panel upgrade. Some specific panel brands have been discontinued and are not acceptable due to safety issues. Smaller electrical panels cannot handle the amount of power used in modern homes due to new loads such as on-demand water heaters, and in the long term, the circuit breakers and electrical terminations can get loose and become a fire hazard.
